Local #Talent Watch: #Shock #Octopus, #Psychedelic #ProgRock #Rock


Shock Octopus formed in 2010 as a dark, psychedelic-rock four piece whose influences include Talking Heads, Pink Floyd and Muse. The Octopus has supported the likes of Sin City (formerly Local Pricks) and Heytesburg. Additionally, they have performed for the dotdotdash magazine sci-fi issue and the horror movie ‘Warsaw’.

‘Safe Room’ is the first studio offering from Shock Octopus and was commissioned for the soundtrack of the Feed Television Series, a vampiric drama that’s set for release in 2011. –Source: Shock Octopus, Myspace.
