This is a post by a public member in the forums (by some troll), “astraeos”:
I ran into Stephen Reid at Morton’s Steakhouse earlier tonight and had a short chat with him. During this chat, he confirmed off the record that the game will be released May 25th and that the first phase of open beta is scheduled to start April 8th. Finally, we will be able to get our hands on this game…well in four weeks that is.
Stephen Reid’s official response:
No, no you didn’t. Nice thought though. I like Morton’s.
If you ever do meet me in person, feel free to offer me a free steak dinner, because that’ll just about make up for using my name to give your fanciful imaginary posts some weight.
For anyone wishing or hoping this dream scenario was true, I’m afraid I didn’t talk to anyone, and wouldn’t do so on or off the record. Our release date window remains the same as we stated in February; 2011. (See Below)
Astraeos – this is your one and only warning: don’t make up statements and attribute them to myself or other BioWare employees, even in the spirit of good fun.
